The Environmental Protection Commission of Hillsborough County (EPC) is pleased to host our award-winning Clean Air Fair 2024 in celebration of May as Clean Air Month on Thursday, May 2nd. This is our 23rd year for hosting this annual event which emphasizes the importance of a healthy and sustainable environment! Part of celebrating clean air is showcasing the good work of our community partners and stakeholders and our theme this year is “Show You Care, Luv That Air.” We encourage YOU to show how you love clean air and the environment by sharing this event with your family and friends and joining us as our guest! The fair recognizes the importance of local environmental protection, efforts to sustain the environment for our future, and the importance of a balanced natural environment. In support of this, we will distribute free saplings to attendees in honor of Arbor Day (available while supplies last). Interested guests will also have the opportunity to find out information about how to join the Hillsborough County Solar Co-op and speak with a Solar United Neighbors representative.
The free lunchtime event will include a variety of environmental exhibitors from around the County, along with health information, complimentary refreshments and food samples, nature exhibits, prize drawings, and live music. Additionally, we will display the finalists’ artwork from EPC's annual environmental photography contest. There is no fee to attend or exhibit, but prior registration is required for any environmentally conscious companies wishing to exhibit.
