Doc Chicago is a free, volunteer-run event that invites the regional documentary community to come together, connect, and learn from each other. Doc Chicago takes place on Nov 3-4. Separate RSVP required for 2023 Doc Chicago DAY 2 .
This year, we're thrilled to kick off our 2023 Doc Chicago mini-conference with A Conversation with Gordon Quinn, featuring Kartemquin Films' co-founder and longtime former Artistic Director Gordon Quinn. Gordon is not only a prolific filmmaker who has directed and executive produced many films, but has been a wonderful mentor to several generations of documentarians in town. You can expect to watch clips from some rarely seen early Kartemquin films and an in-depth conversation between Gordon Quinn and documentary filmmaker and educator Dinesh Sabu (Unbroken Glass).
