Who is it for?
Adults looking to gain skills, qualifications, and a direct route into employment within customer service.
Looking to start a career in customer service? Our Get Hired in Customer Service programme is an intensive two-week course designed to give you the skills, confidence, and qualifications needed to succeed in customer-facing roles.
Delivered at Thetford Learning Centre, this course runs from 9:30am – 4:00pm and combines practical learning with real employment opportunities. You will work towards a Level 1 Award in Customer Service alongside gaining WorldHost Accreditation, both highly valued by employers.
Throughout the course, you will develop a strong understanding of essential customer service principles, including communication skills, handling customer needs, and working effectively in a range of service environments. The programme is designed to help you apply these skills across different industries, giving you flexibility in your job search.
As part of the SWAP (Sector-Based Work Academy Programme), you will also be offered an interview for a live vacancy, providing a direct pathway into employment.
By the end of the course, you will be equipped with the knowledge, practical skills, and confidence to step into a customer service role and make a positive impression with employers.
Course Cost and Funding
Full course funding is available as long as you do not already have this qualification, are aged 19+ and currently live in the U.K.
