2 Days-Weekend Acting Workshop
Unlike any other creative art form, acting requires mastery over breath, movement, voice, and relaxation. An actor undergoes rigorous training-comparable to that of an athlete-only to be told that their goal is not to win a race but to captivate an audience.
After completing essential drama school exercises, an actor must integrate these skills in front of a live audience, bringing theory into practice. Aspiring actors and actresses should be exposed to various schools of acting, allowing them to choose an approach that best suits their temperament.
This weekend workshop is designed to help students uncover the actor within and build a strong foundation in acting. With a structured focus on fundamental techniques, it offers a comprehensive introduction to stagecraft. The format is tailored for those with busy schedules, requiring commitment only on weekends. Whether you are a professional, a student, or an aspiring actor looking to grasp the basics of acting, this workshop is an ideal starting point.
Workshop Details:
Duration: 2 Days
Per Session Duration: 3 Hours (Saturday - Sunday), 3 pm to 6 PM
Criteria: Open to anyone with an interest in acting
Spanning six weekends (2 sessions), the program begins with the fundamentals of story development, play writing, design, and direction before delving into the craft of acting. In addition to acting, participants will engage in theater activities, script readings, analysis, discussions, and live performances.
Upon completion, participants will receive complimentary video footage and photographs of their performances, along with a certificate of participation.
