In this 2-day workshop we will discover some techniques to improve your Acting for the camera performance
We will work with scenes from established screenplays.

SCENE ANALYSIS

- The through Line.
- Character: Backstory. Biography and research.
- The Character Spine. Goals and objectives.
- Dialogue: How to work with subtexts.
- The emotional event. Scene Backstory.
ACTING BASICS
- Relaxation, Memory and concentration Techniques ( Chejov Method)
- Physical and physiological exercises. (Chejov Method)
- Sensory Memory and Emotional Memory. (Stanislavski Method)
- The Meisner repetition
DAY 2
CASTING
- The casting process
- Scene reading for Castings
- Scene preparation
- Essential tools to run an Audition.
ACTING FOR THE SCREEN
- Camera essentials: Shot size and Camera angles
- Adjusting The Performance For The Size Of The Shot
- What to do before the take and after the take
- How to translate the rehearsal work on the set.
- Rehearsal techniques on Set.
- The relation between Director-Actor on Set

About the Instructor: Ezequiel Rubin
Ezequiel Rubin, born in Argentina in 1977, is a seasoned professional in the film industry, with extensive experience as an assistant director, producer, and directing actors teacher. Over the years, he has contributed to numerous international projects across Spain, Argentina, the USA, Italy, Germany, and Canada. His collaborations span renowned companies such as TVE, Factotum, Rai Cinema, TV3, Met Films, The Mastermind, and MediaPro.
