The Large-Scale Installation Series is as close to a real life situation as it gets. Expect to hike ladders, work with rigging and make beautiful constructions under the direction of a Floral Design Master. Over four class sessions, students will gain experience designing popular floral installations including: a {1} monumental urn arrangements, {2} an elevated centerpiece design, specifically for events or weddings, {3} a chuppahs or flowering arches, and {4} a hanging floral chandeliers.This series will also give students insight into the business side of large-scale floral projects, by using real-world logistics, construction, pricing, installation practices and managing client expectations when it comes to over-the-top design.
What you can expect:
- 2 Days of Class, split over 4 sessions (allowing 1 hour lunch break each day)
- Hands-On lessons, all taught by a Floral Design Expert
- Experience creating four large-scale projects, from concept to finished project both individually and as a team, simulating a floral team
- Floral aprons, tools, and other supplies will be provided for use during this program. Please note that personal sets of supplies to take home are only included with enrollment in our 2-Day Introduction to Design Series.
