Celebrate Spring with a children's cookie decorating class!
Join us for a buzz-worthy cookie decorating class that's all about bee-autiful creations and family fun led by Lalita of Cookies By Lalita! In this Big & Littles class, both caregivers (Bigs) and kids (Littles) will be buzzing with excitement as they dive into decorating their own bee, beehive, and flower-themed cookies.
Everything you'll need is provided at class along with a live in-person instructor – just bring a smile (and maybe an apron).
We offer two types of tickets to cater to your hive's preferences.
- Big Bee, Little Bee ticket, where both caregiver and child each decorate their own set of cookies side by side.
- Helper-Bee ticket, perfect for caregivers who want to be the guiding force behind their little honeybees' creative endeavors. This includes one set of cookies to be shared by caregiver and child.
- Have more little bees 🐝 buzzing to join the fun? Additional Little Bees can be added with another ticket, ensuring that every member of your hive gets to take part in the sweetness.
All children AND adults in attendance must have a ticket. All children must be accompanied by a ticketed adult to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.

About this Class
We will be doing a fun “Oh Honey” theme set that tastes amazing and will look even better once you’ve completed your decorating!
We provide everything you will need from cookies, icing, sprinkles, and a box to take your awesome creations home in - we just need you and your littlest bee 🐝! Each to-bee-baker gets 3 cookies, 3 icing colors, sprinkles, and all the tools necessary to knock this cookie class out of the park! Everything is prepped right before class – so no baking or icing mixing required. Just decorate!
This class is on Sunday, May 5th and starts at 2:00p sharp so we can have enough time to decorate and answer questions along the way. We only have seating for up to 15 people!
The class will be helped at the Beehive Upstairs at Bok in Philadelphia, PA located at 1901 S 9th Street, Philadelphia, PA 19148. Nervous about the parking situation? Don’t be! Parking is pretty easy – you can park for free on the street for up to 2 hours.
About My Bakery
Who doesn’t love getting out and doing something fun while also eating delicious cookies!? That’s what Cookies By Lalita all about!
These classes are based in Philadelphia and cater to the beginner cookier or people just looking to have fun learning a new skill. Whether you just want a fun date, a girls-or-guys-night-out or just want to explore what cookie decorating is on your own - we have a seat for you.
For our classes, all you will need to bring is yourself (and an apron if you are a messy decorator), and I’ll take care of the rest. You will get a set of pre-baked cookies (pretty tasty if I do say so myself) as well as all the supplies you will need to decorate them during the 1 hour class. You will leave the class with your very own box of your very own newly decorated cookies!
A little about me – I’ve been baking sugar cookies since 2021– and I’ve not put down a scribe since (don’t know what a scribe is? I’ll teach you in class!). My favorite cookie themes to decorate are Birthday and Christmas– but I can do pretty much anything if icing’s involved. I love what I do –who wouldn’t love making cookies?! It’s the sweetest job in the world!

Cancelation / Refund / Sick Policy
7+ Days Before Class:
Can't make it? Cancel for a refund up to 7 days before class.
To request a refund through Eventbrite, follow these steps:
- Log in to Eventbrite.
- Go to Tickets.
- Find the order you want refunded, then select Request a refund.
- Enter your details and submit your request. The organizer should respond within five business days.
***Select Contact the organizer if you don’t see the option to request a refund or you have a question about the status of your refund request.
Within 7 Days Of Class:
You have the option to pick up your cookies and get access to the step-by-step tutorial from class or transfer your ticket to a friend, but no refund is available.
You Don't Show Up or Email Prior To Class:
If I do not hear from you before your class’s start time, and you do not show up for class, we cannot offer a refund.
DIY / Add-On Kits
Order your sugar cookie class kit and take the class home with you to teach a child or friend! These class kits come with everything you'll use in class, and I’ll email you the class PowerPoint so you can follow our step-by-step instructions from home! Cookie Class DIY Kits are created before your class, and you'll pick them up and take them with you after class.
How long can a kit last? Depending on how you store your icing, your kits can last for a week or longer. Freezing cookies keep them fresh for a long time, but I recommend using your kit as soon as possible - ideally in the first week after you've taken it home. Cookies are heat sealed for freshness – but again, use it in under a week to make sure it tastes the best.
Allergen Disclaimer / Class Cancelation Policy / Weather Policy / Fees Disclaimer
Allergens: Heads up – these cookies include the following ingredients: flour, butter, eggs, sugar, powder sugar, vanilla, salt, merengue powder and food colorings.
Please note – these cookies are prepared in a kitchen that also bakes with common, known allergens: milk, eggs, fish, shellfish, peanuts, treenuts, wheat and soy.
Please consider your allergies before registering.
Class Cancellation Policy: Classes may be canceled at the discretion of me, the event host. This rarely happens – but in that extremely rare event that it does, you’ll receive a 100% refund including your EventBrite fees.
Classes with attendance below 6 will be canceled. Don’t be sad! You can get in on a future class with your full refund! I’ll let you know if your class has low attendance before the event is canceled so that you can bring a friend (hint hint) or find other plans for that day.
Weather Policy: Sometimes Jack Frost doesn’t play well with cookie class schedules, and Mother Nature seems to be takin’ notes. In the event of inclement weather, I’ll contact you with options – these may differ depending on the weather event, but rest assured – we’ll figure something out!
EventBrite Fees: Your ticket price includes your ticket fees; however, EventBrite does not refund its fees. If you cancel your ticket and request a refund prior to the cancelation window expiring, I’ll happily give you a refund less the EventBrite fee – since I don’t get this fee back either. EventBrite keeps it regardless of whether you show up or cancel. I know – I hate it too!
