Gallery Opening Reception 4-7pm:
April Exhibition Opening in The Founders Gallery: Nostalgic Moments: Echoes of Childhood, a group exhibition by The Hub and Jane’s artists.
Artists at The Hub and Jane’s were asked to create works inspired by childhood memories and the simple joys that continue to live in their hearts. The warmth and emotions that arise when reflecting on those early years will be on display in this group exhibition of two- and three-dimensional art.
Opening from 4-7pm. Exhibition through April 27. The Hub + Jane’s Members receive a 10% discount on all purchases of artwork throughout The Hub and Jane’s on 1st Saturday. Wine and beer available for purchase.
Art Connections 10am-7pm: An inside look at the work of more than 60 local artists. Talk to the artists and learn about the process of creating art. Explore two floors of art in one historic building in the heart of the New Smyrna Beach Arts District.
Live Music 1-3pm: RhythmWorks Band outside at Jane’s Art Center; 5-7pm: Jim Bryer in the Lobby.
Talk Art! 1-2pm: Nature as Inspiration - Using Nature in your Art with Hub artist Carolyn Land.
Sip & Stroll 1-6pm: The Hub and Jane’s participate every 1st Saturday in Canal Street’s Sip & Stroll. Purchase tickets at the Info Booth on Canal Street or online at www.canalstreetnsb.com and be sure to visit The Hub and Jane’s during your Canal Street journey.
Fee: All 1st Saturday events are free and open to the public.
