Now an Affiliate Event partner of the GDC Festival of Gaming, the 1st Annual Cinematic Awards brings together creators, studios, and industry leaders to honor the artistry behind the most compelling cinematic work in games.
This inaugural event marks a milestone for the Society for Game Cinematics as we recognize outstanding achievements across cinematic direction, animation, editing, performance, music, and more on a massive IMAX Theater Screen. Whether you’re a creator, collaborator, or supporter of the craft, this is an evening dedicated to celebrating the people and passion that bring game worlds to life!

Attire:
Dress to Impress. This is a night to celebrate! Semi-formal/Cocktail to Formal Attire is recommended.
Tickets & Entry:
Every guest must have an individual ticket to the show.
GDC Passes are not necessary or useable for entry.
Schedule
- Check-in begins at 6:00 PM
- Doors open at 6:30 PM
- The awards program will start promptly at 7:00 PM
Food & Beverage
Typical theater food fare will be available for purchase. We would advise guests to enjoy dinner prior to the show.
Afterparty
The celebration doesn't have to end when the awards do. Those who buy their tickets early will be invited to attend a highly exclusive 21+ invite-only afterparty following the show. Space is limited and trust us - this will be THE party of the week! Details will be shared privately closer to the event, but you must be among the first to register for the Cinematic Awards to receive them!
