in 1981, moved to a small southern town in the Virginia Appalachian mountains.
In 1991, went to college in Ohio.
in 1999, started performing Stand-Up comedy in coffee shops in San Francisco, CA.
In 2003, moved to Los Angles, CA.
In 2005, moved to Brooklyn.
In 2008, got married.
In 2011, had a kid.
In 2019, released a Stand-Up audio album.
In 2021, released a Hip-Hop album.
In 2025 - 2026 doing this this one person show.
Cantrell recently he acted in TV shows The Last OG (2020), The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel (2022), Girls5eva (2023) and appears in a new indie horror feature film titled Traction Park Massacre (2025).
As a Stand-Up, Rob has headlined top comedy clubs, music venues and theaters around the US; plus has done several short sets on network TV shows (NBC, CBS, FX).
He also has appeared at SXSW, Bonnoroo Music Festival and The New York Comedy Festival.
