Viribus Unitis (“With United Forces”) pushes the band’s signature mix of blackened death metal, crushing doom, and atmospheric tension into broader, more dramatic territory. Joining them on this campaign are Danish doom lords KATLA, whose upcoming album Scandinavian Pain (out March 21, 2025) has already drawn attention for its bleak atmospheres and emotionally heavy storytelling. Fusing sludge, post-rock, and progressive doom, KATLA explore themes of melancholy, shame, greed, and the weight of human suffering — driven by thunderous drums, distorted walls of guitar, and haunting vocals.
