Mark your calendars! On Thursday, October 23rd, Hep B Free (formerly San Francisco Hep B Free — Bay Area) is back to celebrate its 18th year in the fight against hepatitis B and liver cancer. Join us in the 5th Floor Ballroom at the Intercontinental Hotel for an amazing night of elegant food, drink, celebrations, awards, and memories! Make sure to come back to check updates on special guests, raffle prizes, and vacation packages.

THIS YEAR'S THEME: "STAND UP FOR HEP B"

Expected special guests: California State Treasurer Fiona Ma, and more!

This year, public health and the fight against hep B especially need your help. In the recent months, funding for research, advocacy, and public health have continued to decrease despite the immense burden of hep B that affect millions of Americans. In light of this, we're excited to present to you this year's gala theme, "Stand Up For Hep B."

We've been working harder than ever in 2025 to make sure the fight against hep B stands strong in the face of uncertainty. We've teamed up with advocates across the nation to support the creation of partner Hep B Free branches, so far expanding to Hep B Free Arizona and bolstering efforts with Hep B Free Los Angeles! To mark this huge milestone and our next steps, we've rebranded to "Hep B Free" to reflect a united identity and effort in the fight against hep B.

With early screening, prevention, and care, hepatitis B and its associated liver cancer can be prevented, treated and eliminated. Will you join us in the fight?

The festivities will start at 6:00PM (Pacific Standard Time).

Dress Code: Business Casual or fancier, take the opportunity to dress up! The space is completely indoor this year.
