Subject: Join Us for the 14th Annual Health Awareness Heart Walk – In Memory of Bernice Stovall J E Brown High Jaguar Deceased Alumni and Your Loss of Family and Friends.Dear Friends and Family,
In 2009, my dear friend Bernice Stovall passed away unexpectedly from a heart attack. That heartbreaking moment forever changed my life and inspired me to take action. To honor her memory and raise awareness about heart health, I began participating in the American Heart Association’s Heart Walk. For the 4th Annual Health Awareness Heart Walk J E Brown High School Deceased Alumni were added to the Heart Walk. Now, 14 years later, we continue to walk for Bernice Stovall, J E Brown High Jaguar Deceased Alumni and You and Your Loss of Family and Friends 7th Annual Heart Walk and for everyone who has been impacted by heart disease. This year, I am inviting you to join me for the 14th Annual Health Awareness Heart Walk—an event not just about walking, but about living healthier, loving longer, and making a difference together.
Why This Walk Matters
Heart disease remains the leading cause of death in the U.S. Many illnesses linked to poor heart health can be prevented through lifestyle changes—eating healthy, staying active, and taking care of our bodies. Together, we can raise awareness and funds to fight back.
