12- Week Yoga for BEGINNERS COURSE. Whether beginning yoga to gain fitness, strength, and flexibility or to help calm a busy mind, our beginner's courses are a wonderful introduction to yoga. This course will cover the fundamentals of a yoga practice, including physical postures and movement, breathing, and some basic meditation techniques.
The very basics of the practice will be covered and experienced. Learn about the Asanas, pranayama (breathing techniques), bandhas (body locks), mudras (hand positions), and the art of Meditation (silencing the mind). Gentle movements and a flowing practice with subtle yet profound benefits give a beautiful start to this wonderful practice.
