11:11 – Album Release Party at Palapa
Join us at Palapa for the long-awaited release of 11:11, the debut album from Brazilian percussionist and longtime Enrique Iglesias band member Gilmar Gomes. After more than two decades performing on major stages worldwide, Gilmar steps forward with a deeply personal project that brings together Bahia-rooted percussion, global influences, and sharp, modern world-music production.
Recorded at Alacran Studios Miami, the album features special guests including Edmar Castañeda, Munir Hossn, Han Beyli, Magela Herrera, and others. The project was developed over four years and built from more than 75 percussion instruments, experimental textures, and cross-cultural collaborations.

About the Album: 11:11
11 tracks, each tied to Gilmar’s connection to the number 11 and its creative symbolism. Gilmar wrote, composed, and produced every track. The studio team includes Carlos Pérez D’Anda, Pablo DeLaLoza, Eddie “El Brujo” Caipo, and Isabel Rodríguez Siblesz.
