Our local SPCA and Team Winky will be celebrating our 10th Annual Winky Day in memory of my original frontman Winky .The day will start with a memorial ride to Anzac and back put on by Team Wink . Registration is at 9:00 am , kickstands up at 10:00 . The ride is by donation with all proceeds going to Winky’s Cause for Paws at the shelter .
Team Winky and “ Sidecar “ Sam Langford will be on hand with t shirts , patches and Winky memorabilia to commemorate the ride .
The ride will be followed by a barbecue and day of events for pets and family put on by Our local SPCA. Sam and I will be on hand to give rides to anyone who wants to make a mile with Sam .
Our friend Russell Thomas will be doing a portrait of the original picture of Winky in the wind that started his Facebook page and everything that we do today . We are thinking of having 10 limited prints for sale for the occasion. Our friend Jayne at Prime Signs & Promotional Ltd will be designing a shirt for the event . As always .
We will post more as we get more organized as the event gets closer .
