About this Event
Join us on Saturday, Nov. 15 for the 10th anniversary of MD Anderson’s Boot Walk to End Cancer®. The milestone event will celebrate a decade of uniting supporters globally to give cancer the boot, promote community involvement, educate the public about cancer and raise vital funds for patient programs, research, prevention and education at MD Anderson. Supporters from around the world will come together at TMC Helix Park, walking 1.2 miles, while virtual participants can walk and celebrate from their own neighborhoods or public spaces. Participants can expect family-friendly entertainment and activities including live music, face painters, food trucks, MD Anderson’s Blood Bank mobile and Mobile Mammography, and prevention education activities.
The Boot Walk to End Cancer is an annual fundraiser that provides support for MD Anderson’s mission, including patient programs, research, prevention and education initiatives. Thanks to our sponsors, 100% of funds raised by participants directly advance MD Anderson's mission to end cancer. There is no registration fee. We encourage all participants to fundraise with no minimum requirement.
You can earn Boot Walk swag, including the 2025 event T-shirt when you raise $100. When you register, you will receive free online and mobile fundraising tools, as well as staff support to help you raise funds and awareness among your friends, families and communities. Teams that raise $25,000 or more and individuals who raise $10,000 or more can designate the funds they raise to support a specific MD Anderson program or project of their choice.
All ages are welcome to participate. There's fun for the entire family!
