This is a special annual event to honor Halloween / Samhain / Day of the Dead traditions. Open to newcomers and contributing members, alike.
Join us for an intimate discussion of life's mysteries in the beautiful and historic setting of Oakland Cemetery(https://oaklandcemetery.com/).
We'll gather to honor the lives our ancestors and reflect on the themes of mortality, grief, and the afterlife in alignment with what the sacrament has taught us.
This is a space for contemplation and connection, getting to know each other, and opening our hearts and minds to the spiritual perspectives of others.
What to Expect:
We will create space for personal reflections and shared stories, supporting you to connect with your unique experience of loss, remembrance, and curiosity about the afterlife.
We'll explore how various spiritual and cultural perspectives interpret the concept of the afterlife, the role of ancestors, and the mysteries of the multiverse.
You are invited to bring a photo or a keepsake that reminds you of a loved one and share about what they mean to you.
Preparation & What to Bring:
Comfortable walking shoes and weather-appropriate attire
A photo of a loved one, if you feel called
A notebook for personal reflections
Beverage or snacks
