This Easter explore at what the Tudors liked to cook and eat, what food they could find (and forage) and how healthy it was compared to our 2026 diet.
Portsmouth grew significantly in the Tudor period when it needed to supply Henry’s hungry troops, with bakeries and breweries springing up all over the town.
