👃 Nose
Soft and very approachable from the start. Sweet vanilla and brown sugar lead, followed by toasted char and traditional oak. As it opens, notes of caramel emerge alongside light stone fruit, sweet spearmint, and a faint crack of fresh-ground black pepper. Balanced, inviting, and easy to linger on.
👅 Palate
Creamy and velvety mouthfeel right away. An initial pop of spice—mint, cinnamon candy, and pepper—hits up front, then slowly melts into toasted vanilla and rich caramel. Mid-palate brings a warm, comforting note reminiscent of fresh buttery bread with a custard-like sweetness that’s hard to pin down but extremely enjoyable.
🏁 Finish
Long, warming, and satisfying. Cinnamon and toasted oak carry through without drying the palate. The oak stays sweet and complementary—more of a gentle kiss than a grip—allowing lingering spice and vanilla to fade out smoothly.

An exceptionally easy-sipping Old Scout that still delivers depth for seasoned drinkers. Soft, creamy, and well-balanced with just enough spice to keep things interesting. A great pour for all types of bourbon fans, from casual sippers to barrel-proof hunters.
