The full moon in October 2024 will be a supermoon and the closest full supermoon of the year, occurring on Thursday, October 17. It will also be known as the Hunter's Moon. The moon will appear full for several days, starting on Wednesday. The Hunter's Moon gets its name from the time of year when tribes would gather meat to prepare for the winter. The names of the full moons come from North American Native American traditions, where each month was honored with a unique name that captured the essence of that month.
As this is a Super moon, we will be having an extra special celebration, including Witches' Supper.
