多媒體藝術家盧浩天（Jerry Loo）聯同外祖父霓虹屈管大師黃健華師傅，以及父親盧錦齡，共同創作展覽作品「霓光之渡」香港的士與「光馳無界」電單車裝置。在創作的過程中，盧浩天首先以繪圖提出設計藍本；盧錦齡隨即與製作團隊實現設計和調整組裝細節；黃健華師傅則根據實際尺寸的圖紙構思霓虹管的走向和屈管方式。在作品的製作過程中，清晰的平面設計和立體結構圖方便團隊溝通，製作可行和穩固的裝置，讓觀眾能坐在霓虹之上，從另一角度觀看霓虹。
在本次2小時的工作坊中，盧浩天將帶領參加者利用iPad繪圖程式Procreate，設計與霓虹製作兼容的裝置，再透過 Shapr3D轉化平面設計為立體模型，體驗裝置藝術的創作流程。
** 參加者必須自備以下設備：
1. iPad：需要能夠運行Procreate的iPad（建議使用iPad Pro或iPad Air）。
2. Apple Pencil：建議使用Apple Pencil進行畫圖，確保繪圖體驗最佳。
3. Shapr3D應用程式：參加者需要在iPad上下載並安裝Shapr3D應用程式，用於將平面設計轉換為立體模型。
注意：本工作坊提供4部iPad及4支Apple Pencil供參與者使用，其餘參加者需自備電腦或其他設備。
Multimedia artist Jerry Loo has created the artworks ‘Harbour Crossing Lights’ taxi and ‘Neon Throttle’ motorcycle together with his grandfather neon master Wong Kin Wah, and his father Denny Loo. In the creative process, Jerry first developed the design blueprint through drawing; Denny’s team then implemented the design and refined the fabrication details; Master Wong bent the neon tubes with a planned routing based on a 1:1 sketch. Clear 2D designs and well-structured 3D forms are essential in the fabrication process, ensuring a practical and stable installation with effective team communication, and allowing the audience to experience neon from a different perspective sitting on the installations.
In this 2-hour workshop, Jerry Loo will guide participants to use iPad drawing app Procreate to design an installation concept compatible with neon fabrication. Participants will then use Shapr3D to transform the 2D design into a 3D model, experiencing the process of creating installation art—from digital drawing to 3D realization.
Participants are required to bring the following equipment:
- iPad: Must be capable of running Procreate (iPad Pro or iPad Air recommended).
- Apple Pencil: It is recommended to use an Apple Pencil for the best drawing experience.
- Shapr3D Application: Participants need to download and install the Shapr3D application on their iPad to transform their 2D design into a 3D model.
