About this Event
Conscious Connected Breathwork is a guided journey to music where you will be supported in accessing deeper layers of yourself. This conscious breathing practice has many benefits including supporting emotional release, easing stress and anxiety, and providing mental clarity.
You are guided by Briony Gunson, with support from Richard Spearing and Laura Donovan.
**Beginners are welcome!** please read the waiver below. And bring a blanket, pillow, yoga mat and wear comfy layered clothing you can sit and lie down in.

What you will experience:
🌬️ Engage in conscious connected breathwork - 50-minute practice, with somatic movement guided at the start to stretch out and soften the physical body and prepare for the practice.
We will complete the session with a grounding, integration and time for optional group shares.
Please arrive by 6:50 PM for a prompt 7:00 PM start.
❗Simple refreshments will be provided (no food).
How to prepare for the session:
🍽️ Avoid eating 2 hours before
💧 Stay hydrated (avoid excessive drinking just before)
❌ Ideally no alcohol 24 hours prior
🧣 Bring a blanket, pillow, eye mask, yoga mat and layered clothing (we strongly recommend you bring your own blanket for as your body temperature can drop in the practice).

Briony Gunson - Briony is a highly sought-after mindset coach, meditation teacher and breathwork trainer and facilitator. By taking part in this session, you agree that you are suitably resourced (mentally, physically and emotionally) to take part in this session. By taking part, you agree to take full responsibility for yourself and your own self-care beyond this session. The facilitators cannot be held responsible for any mental, physical or emotional challenges that may arise during and after taking part in breathwork.
If you experience any of the following conditions, it is recommended to consult your GP or healthcare provider before joining a breathwork session. You can still take part using an adapted breathing technique, as required/recommended:

- Unmanaged PTSD
- Detached retina

- High Blood Pressure, Or Low Blood Pressure With A Fainting History

Venue parking - important!
Please ensure you have read the event description ahead of attending, to ensure you have all the details and come prepared.
*IMPORTANT* You will need to bring your own yoga mat, blanket and pillow as the venue does not provide these.
There are parking spaces on Withington Road and on the junction of Egerton Road South and Daventry Road. The venue is located at the end of a residential street, so we need to be mindful of our neighbours. There is good access to public transport, and the Fallowfield Loop runs just behind us, so most people walk or cycle.
