Roli, a young woman from Warri, arrives in Lagos carrying the weight of tradition, expectation, and the hopes of those who shaped her past. As Roli navigates the challenges of a new city and the pressures of cultural expectations, she encounters a community that challenges, supports, and reshapes her understanding of womanhood and independence. Famous Odion Iraoya is a multi-award-winning Nigerian director, editor, and cinematographer known for visually striking narratives across film, documentary, and branded content. A graduate of the National Film Institute in Jos, his work has appeared on Netflix, Apple TV, Amazon Prime Video, and Deutsche Welle. He directed the acclaimed documentary #ENDSARS: Lekki Massacre, which earned him Best Director at the Silicon Valley African Film Festival in 2021.

Iraoya’s credits include serving as colorist and final cut editor on King of Boys, a landmark Nollywood feature, and directing documentaries such as Green the Amazons and Way to the Top, both nominated at the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards and screened at AFRIFF. In 2025, he directed, edited, and color graded Finding Nina for Nemsia Studios, slated for release on Amazon Prime Video.
