Create to live…Create to stay connected with what is dear to you…
Create to feel part of Ukrainian history and culture, even on another continent.
Create to rediscover your inner source of strength and feel life in every cell of your body…
I invite you into a space of a live, creative gathering where we will come together to create a motanka doll — “Berehynia,” a symbol of feminine strength, support, and connection to one’s roots.
During this gathering, we will immerse ourselves in the sacred world of the Ukrainian motanka doll. We will begin with a brief introduction to the tradition — its meaning, origins, and role in life and family — and then move into the hands-on creation process. Step by step, you will craft your own doll with your hands, working with materials, receiving guidance and support, while also having space for your own creative expression. This process helps you feel present, grounded, and connected to deeper meaning. It offers time for yourself and a mindful quiet within a creative community.
Who this gathering is for:
Ukrainian women living in Colorado who want to reconnect with their inner resources and cultural roots;
Those who work with people and need time to recharge;
Local women who are curious about Ukrainian sacred art and want to explore its deeper meaning and symbolism;
Anyone who values quiet, depth, attention to detail, and the beauty of the creative process;
Anyone who wants to spend time in a supportive and inspiring community.
Cost: $75 (all materials included)
Tea, coffee, and treats will also be provided.
Spots are limited — register now to join our live creative community and create your own “Berehynia” motanka, a symbol of your strength and support.
