About this Event
Most wedding and event pros have a love-hate relationship with social media. You’re amazing at what you do, but finding the time (and the energy) to post about it can feel like a total chore.
On Tuesday, April 28th, we’re hosting our first-ever educational workshop to help change that. With only 30 tickets available, this is a small, focused afternoon at Method & Muse where you can get some expert advice and connect with your peers without the usual "networking" pressure.
The Schedule
- 3:00 - 3:15 | Check-in & Mingle
- 3:15 - 3:45 PM | Practical Content Workshop Rhiannon Womack of BTS by Rhi is leading a 30-minute session on How to Make Entertaining & Effective Content. She isn’t just going to talk at you; she’s giving you real-world tips on what people actually want to see in their feeds. You’ll walk away with new ideas for your social posts so you aren’t staring at a blank screen next time you go to hit "share."
- 3:45 PM – 4:30 PM | Mixology Class The team at Method & Muse will lead us through a 45-minute mixology class. You’ll craft two different beverages (you can choose alcoholic or non-alcoholic options) and learn the techniques behind them. It’s a great chance to learn a new skill while you hang out with the group.
- 4:30 PM – 5:00 PM | Networking & Website Insights The rest of the time is yours for open networking. Plus, you’ll have the chance to sit down with owners Amy & Kristin for three quick website improvement tips. Amy knows exactly what couples are looking for when she’s searching on their behalf, and Kristin has a deep background in marketing and user experience. Sometimes we’re just too close to our own work to see the simple ways we can make our copy or site flow even better.

- Business Cards: For all that networking you'll be doing.
- A Notepad: You're going to want to jot down those website and social tips.
- An Open Mind: We're all here to learn and try something new!
