The High Commission of the Republic of Cyprus in London is delighted to present the Prometheas String Quartet in a vibrant spring concert celebrating classical masterworks and Cypriot musical heritage.
Titled Τα “Χρώματα της Άνοιξης” From Vivaldi to Piazzolla (“Colours of Spring”), the programme journeys across centuries and cultures, from the freshness of Antonio Vivaldi’s La Primavera to the passionate rhythms of Astor Piazzolla’s Primavera Porteña, highlighting the richness and diversity of the classical repertoire.
The Prometheas String Quartet is composed of four distinguished Cypriot musicians and members or collaborators of the Cyprus Symphony Orchestra:

This special evening proudly places Cypriot artistry alongside world-renowned composers, reflecting the dynamic cultural identity of Cyprus on the international stage.
The event takes place at Cyprus House in London and is generously supported by the Xenophon Protopapas Foundation, whose commitment to promoting Cypriot excellence in music and culture makes this concert possible.
The concert will be followed by a wine reception.
