«Χειμωνιάτικα Όνειρα»
Το PROMETHEAS STRING QUARTET (Κουαρτέτο εγχόρδων PROMETHEAS), μαζί με τη Χριστίνα Χαραλαμπίδου (μουσικοπαιδαγωγό) και τη Ρεβέκκα Κατσαρή (παιδαγωγό), θα μας ταξιδέψουν από τον «Χειμώνα» του Βιβάλντι έως τον «Χειμώνα» του Piazzolla, με ενδιάμεσες στάσεις σε αγαπημένες συνθέσεις από όλο τον κόσμο, εμπνευσμένες από το χειμωνιάτικο ηχόχρωμα.
Τα παιδιά και οι γονείς θα απολαύσουν την εξαιρετική εκτέλεση των μουσικών, ενώ παράλληλα θα συμμετάσχουν σε δραστηριότητες που καλλιεργούν τη μουσικότητα και ενισχύουν τη σύνδεση με τη μουσική, μέσα από δημιουργικό παιχνίδι και εξερεύνηση. Η εκτέλεση των μουσικών κομματιών θα συνοδεύεται από έργα των μόνιμων συλλογών της Λεβεντείου Πινακοθήκης.
*Κατά τη διάρκεια των δραστηριοτήτων θα γίνεται ταυτόχρονη χρήση της ελληνικής και της αγγλικής γλώσσας.

Η σημασία της μουσικής από την εμβρυακή ηλικία
Η μουσική αποτελεί ένα μοναδικό εργαλείο που ξεκινά να επηρεάζει τον άνθρωπο από την εμβρυακή ηλικία. Έρευνες έχουν δείξει ότι τα έμβρυα ανταποκρίνονται σε ακουστικά ερεθίσματα, με τους ήχους και τους ρυθμούς να συμβάλλουν στην ανάπτυξη του εγκεφάλου πριν από τη γέννηση. Αυτή η πρώιμη επαφή με τη μουσική θέτει τις βάσεις για τη μάθηση και την καλλιέργεια της συναισθηματικής σύνδεσης.
Κατά τη διάρκεια της μουσικής ακρόασης στην πρώιμη παιδική ηλικία, τα παιδιά ανακαλύπτουν διάφορα μουσικά στοιχεία και τα συνδέουν με εμπειρίες της καθημερινότητας. Αυτή η διαδικασία όχι μόνο ενισχύει τη φαντασία τους αλλά και προάγει τη δημιουργικότητα, καθώς τα ερεθίσματα της μουσικής γίνονται πηγή έμπνευσης για παιχνίδια, τραγούδια και ιστορίες.
Ο κόσμος των παιδιών είναι γεμάτος φαντασία και περιέργεια, όπου κάθε εμπειρία μπορεί να μετατραπεί σε ευκαιρία εξερεύνησης νέων ήχων. Μέσω αυτής της διαδικασίας, τα παιδιά εκφράζουν τις ιδέες τους, αναπτύσσουν τις δεξιότητές τους και δημιουργούν μια βαθύτερη κατανόηση του κόσμου γύρω τους. Η ενθάρρυνση του αυθορμητισμού και της φρεσκάδας των ιδεών τους αποτελεί αναπόσπαστο μέρος της μουσικής τους ανάπτυξης.

'Winter Dreams’
The PROMETHEAS STRING QUARTET, along with Christina Charalambidou (music educator) and Rebecca Katsaris (early years educator), will be taking us on a journey starting from Vivaldi's "Winter" to Piazzolla's "Winter," with intermediate stops at beloved compositions from all around the world, inspired by wintry soundscapes.
Children and parents will have a unique opportunity to enjoy the exceptional performance of the musicians while participating in activities that foster musicality and enhance their connection to music through creative play and exploration. Artworks will accompany the performance of the musical pieces from the permanent Collections of the A.G. Leventis Gallery.
*During the activities both Greek & English languages will be used.

The Importance of Music from the Embryonic Stage
Music is a unique tool that begins to influence humans from the embryonic stage. Research has shown that embryos respond to auditory stimuli, with sounds and rhythms contributing to brain development before birth. During musical listening in early childhood, children discover various musical elements and connect them to everyday experiences. This process not only enhances their imagination but also promotes creativity, as musical stimuli become a source of inspiration for play, songs, and stories.
Children's worlds are filled with imagination and curiosity, where every experience can turn into an opportunity to explore new sounds. Through this process, children express their ideas, develop their skills, and create a deeper understanding of the world around them. Encouraging spontaneity and freshness of their ideas is an integral part of their musical development. Music, therefore, is not merely a means of entertainment, but a tool that accompanies individuals from the very beginning of their lives, enhancing their development at every stage of their journey.
