Got clothes or bags that need a little extra something? Join us for our Pocketathon - a creative, hands-on session where we’ll be adding pockets to bags, jackets, jeans, aprons and more!Whether you want something practical, playful, colourful or completely unique, this is your chance to design and sew (or attach) a pocket that shows off your personality. Think bold fabrics, embroidery, patches, lace, buttons - the options are endless.
No fancy sewing skills required - just bring an item you’d like to add a pocket to. We’ll have sewing machines, equipment and plenty of funky fabrics you’re more than welcome to use - or feel free to bring your own special materials.
It’s all about creativity, community and making everyday more functional (and more fun!) Come stitch with us and let’s put pockets where they belong.
All ages and abilities are more welcome.
