βJust as there are a variety of reasons to dance in community, there are a variety of reasons to serve as a dance facilitator. As I hold community movement space for the joys, sorrows, and the whole range of emotional experiences that result in transformation and liberation, I experience my own process of personal growth and emotional expression. From my first free-form dance 15 years ago to the countless dances that I have facilitated in the last 13 years, I continue to be challenged and rewarded in holding sacred space and selecting divinely enchanting music.β βDJ Jai Dee

Katrina (ππππ) Lilly is a powerhouse vocalist, vocal teacher, recording artist, community visionary, and Mama of beautiful/wild children. You may recognize her as the female vocalist of The Freedom Family Band. She has traveled internationally sharing her gifts, and you can feel her fascinating life story and experiences in the texture and depth of her voice. Her lyrics are wildly authentic and deeply moving and her melodies are soothing to the soul. She seamlessly integrates other elements into her live sets, like free styling/improv, collabs with other epic musicians, incredible harmony skills, crowd participation and more!. She feels the flow of each crowd/space, matches the energy, and facilitates epic musical alchemy for all that are open to hear it.

GUIDELINES FOR ECSTATIC DANCE:
*No disruptions to adjacent residential neighborhood
*No street shoes
*No conversation during wave
*No pets (this includes fake service dogs)
*No coming if you are feeling a bit ill
*No smoking
*No colognes or perfumes
*No scamming
*Yes brush teeth, shower and clean clothes (yes keep your clothes on)
*Yes participate
*Yes consent culture
*Yes state boundaries clearly from moment to moment
*Yes supervised children
*Yes clothes
*Yes, park in our designated areas
*Yes be aware of your surroundings and energy
*Yes, doors will be closed when we reach capacity
IMPORTANT PARKING INFO:
Please park in one of our driveways/lots. We have three lots to choose from:
Two are next to the temple, the third is at 311 Haw Creek Road. Yes, 311 Haw Creek Road is part of the Haw Creek Commons. There is plenty of parking behind the house and perpendicular parking on the left and right sides of the driveway, Please pull all the way into lot to maximize parking availability. Overflow parking on the lawns at the commons is only available if the lawns are completely dry. If parking off road you must be completely off road and not halfway.
Parallel parking is available in front of 31 Bethesda Rd.
The neighbors have been very supportive of our event, and we in turn support the neighbors by parking in the designated areas and not hanging out by the cars. We welcome you to park in our designated parking areas as we can easily accommodate all cars there.
