Cheers to Milwaukee | Linneman’s Monday | Monday April 13th, 2026, 7-10:30pmHey,
I hope you all are well and off to a fabulous Spring. Already, a quarter of the year has eclipsed to bring upon the season of Restoration in the Fifth Season. We will love to especially invite you all to ‘Cheers to Milwaukee,’ a poetry-music fusion showcase at Linneman’s (1001 E. Locust St.), Milwaukee Day Eve, April 13th, 2026, 7-10:30pm…
This showcase will be to celebrate National Poetry Month, Spring, Milwaukee Day, a praise to my five mentors; Ammar Nsoroma, Kwabena Nixon, Muhibb Dyer, Paul Moga, and Emilio De Torre, and to premiere our new poetry monologue “Cheers.” Blue Lotus (Shana Wilson) poet-djembe percussionist, and Marika Holbusz, musician-poet will accompany me as I rap, sing, and recite our timeless poetry monologues dedicated to Milwaukee’s imbibement culture.
Sarah Fierek, musician-singer who I personally call ‘the Princess Of Fire’ will open our poetry set with her rhythmic wildflower vocals and guitar acoustics. Also, Our Wildflower maven Sarah will bring all the audience members and poets together to raise a ‘Cheers to Milwaukee.’
Our goal is to pack the Linneman’s with 100 plus people, $3 cover each. Remember to bring a couple of friends to help us fulfill our attendance goal.
Do not just attend to see us, but sign up on the open mic early at 7pm, 7:30-9pm open mic showcase, before go on around 9pm.
We can not wait to see you there..
