Weโre stoked to be back at Boorlooโs most magnificent riverside gardens, the serene, pristine, and leafy green down-town surrounds of the SUPREME COURT GARDENS - where it all begins, again, and where we have the undue privilege to gather on Whadjuk Ngoongar Boodjar, by the banks of the Derbarl Yerrigan, in celebration of this timely turn of the quarter century. Weโre settling in, not settling down, for our third jam in this particular park with three space-age stages, updated, reprogrammed, fully equipped and carefully calibrated for an out of this world experience that is equal parts freaky, funky, friendly and fun. Bursting through the humdrum, all of a sudden youโre up to your ears in Freedom!

1. Freedom Time takes place on WHADJUK NOONGAR BOODJA (country), at the edge of the Derbarl Yerrigan, and weโre humbled and deeply grateful to be able to gather here, and pay our respects to elders past, present and emerging.
ALWAYS WAS, ALWAYS WILL BE Aboriginal land.
2. Freedom Time is a SAFE SPACE FOR ALL. We are 200% committed to safety and inclusivity. We have a zero tolerance policy to discrimination, harassment and harmful behaviour of any kind and we will be working to ensure the safety, comfort and enjoyment of every guest in attendance. All cultures, genders, bodies, hair-doโs, foot-wears and sexual identities are wholeheartedly welcome. Diversity is strength!
Freedom Time strives to be a space where you can express your authentic self freely. If you have any reason to believe that this may not be the case for you, then please reach out to us so that we may improve our ability to be great hosts to everyone. We are always learning and appreciate any advice and assistance.

Your safety and your experience is always a top priority for us. Our security and insecurity guards are here for you (more about these legends soon) and are briefed to look out for you and to take any concerns seriously. Our dancers and DJs are also some of the nicest folks you will ever meet - they have all been briefed to look out for anyone who might need a hand or a hug. First Aid will be onsite all night and will respect your confidentiality in any matter. Our Facebook chat line is open all night.
But in all realness, itโs a group effort to ensure that everyone is all good. So please look out for each other, check in on strangers and make new friends. If anything seems not quite right, then please contact our security guards, our insecurity guards, our dancers, our DJ's, our bar staff or message us online on the Freedom Time page and we will respond to all concerns as quickly as possible!
3. This year at Freedom Time we are continuing our eco-festival approach: reducing our carbon emissions and environmental impact, with the goal being a carbon neutral festival by 2025. Weโre rolling up on our bikes to the festival gates, reusing our cups and recycling everything else! There will be no single use plastic onsite at the event; ciggy's canisters will be provided so you can keep your butt in it's place; and all of our artist flights are carbon-offset. We do all this with a deep commitment to contribute to a more sustainable and thoughtful party philosophy into the future.
