Direct Action Everywhere (DxE) is a grassroots network of animal rights activists. Through open rescue, demonstration, and disruption, we are creating a world where every animal is safe, happy and free.
DxE cultivates a welcoming and supportive community. We ask that all those who attend our events (online and offline) respect our Code of Conduct which can be reviewed at dxe.io/conduct.
We work towards our mission by following a set of core values: we do our homework, we build purposeful communities, we lead by serving, we aim to do exceptional work for the animals, and we are fiercely nonviolent in our actions, words, tone and intention.
Unacceptable behaviors within our community, both on and offline, will not be tolerated. Including, but not limited: violence, speciesist, sexist, racist, homophobic, transphobic, ableist, ageist, personal attacks or insult, inappropriate photography or recording, inappropriate physical contact, including any non consensual physical contact (no matter how seemingly benign).
All official events hosted by DxE San Diego are open to all ages, will be free of alcohol and other drugs, and prohibit attendees who are significantly under the influence of alcohol or other drugs.
