Join us at our Theisen’s of Coralville store for a special community event on May 23rd featuring an adoption event in partnership with Tails in Transit, happening inside the store from 12 PM – 3 PM. Come meet adoptable pets who are ready to find their forever homes!
We’re also excited to partner with the Coralville Police Department to introduce Karl, the new Crisis Support K9, and his handler, Lieutenant Mike Mrstik. 👉 Karl and the K9 team will be on-site from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM only.
Outside the store, we’ll have a first responders showcase featuring local emergency vehicles (including an ambulance, fire truck, and police cars—subject to availability). Kids and families will be able to explore the vehicles, sit inside, and take photos with Karl.
This is a fun, family-friendly community event celebrating adoption, service, and connection right here in our community.
