Event Details:
We’ll gather at Hibiya Park for a relaxed, open-air discussion inspired by Her (2013) — using it as a starting point to explore connection, distance, and what intimacy looks like today.
We’ll talk about questions such as:
Where does loneliness appear even when we feel “connected”?
What does intimacy look like when it doesn’t follow traditional forms?
Set in one of Tokyo’s most peaceful central parks, this will be a calm, unhurried space to sit together, share thoughts, and reflect. The setting naturally allows for softer conversation — some moments in a group, others in smaller circles as discussions unfold.
Rather than focusing on the film itself, we’ll use it as a reference point for broader questions around modern relationships, emotional closeness, and the ways we connect in everyday life.
You don’t need to have watched the film recently — or at all — to join. Some people come ready to share, others prefer to listen, and many simply enjoy being part of the atmosphere. All of it is welcome.
