Discover the art of sgraffito in this fun and creative hands-on class! Sgraffito is a decorative technique that involves scratching into the surface of clay to reveal beautiful designs in the color.
In this beginner-friendly workshop, you’ll learn how to apply vibrant underglaze colors to the surface of raw stoneware clay plates (provided) and then carve into the colored areas to create your own unique design. Whether you prefer florals, patterns, whimsical imagery, or bold graphic lines, your finished piece will be completely one-of-a-kind and hand-made.

You may choose to glaze your plate at the time of class, or return to glaze it after the bisque firing (usually about 2 weeks after class). Finished pieces will be ready for pick-up approximately 3–4 weeks after class, depending on your glazing choice and firing schedule.
