Join us for a hands-on volunteer morning in our beloved Reynoldstown Memorial Park! Weโll be removing invasive plant species to help restore the natural ecosystem and make space for native plants to thrive. This is not just a workday โ itโs an opportunity to learn.
Weโre thrilled to have Jeremiah Wood, lead of our local Georgia Native Plant Society (GNPS) pod, guiding the day.
Heโll share:
๐ฑ Why invasive plants harm local ecosystems
๐ฑ Which native plants benefit our wildlife, soil, and pollinators
๐ฑ How to identify and remove invasive species effectively
๐ฑ Simple ways we can support biodiversity at home and in our neighborhoods
Whether youโre into gardening, ecology, climate action โ or just want to spend a morning outside doing something meaningful โ this will be a rewarding experience.
