Ever wondered what it’s like to manage a nature reserve, restore habitats, and explore the secrets of Maltese wildlife? Now’s your chance! Building on the success of our previous Nature Guardians courses, we’re thrilled to announce the Spring 2025 program, starting this March. 📅 Course Dates:
Join us for 12 sessions every Sunday, starting 9th March 2025 and ending with a special graduation ceremony on 25th May 2025.

Session 2: Sunday 16th March 2025, 9am–12pm
Session 3: Sunday 23rd March 2025, 9am–12pm
Session 4: Sunday 30th March 2025, 9am–12pm
Session 5: Sunday 6th April 2025, 9am–12pm
Session 6: Sunday 13th April 2025, 9am–12pm
Session 7: Sunday 20th April 2025, 9am–12pm
Session 8: Sunday 27th April 2025, 9am–12pm
Session 9: Sunday 4th May 2025, 9am–12pm
Session 10: Sunday 11th May 2025, 9am–12pm
Session 11: Sunday 18th May 2025, 9am–12pm
Session 12 (+ Graduation): Sunday 25th May 2025, 9am–1pm
👦👧 Who Can Join?
This program is perfect for young nature enthusiasts aged 7–11. With small group sizes (max 12 participants), we ensure each child gets a personalized experience.
🌍 What You’ll Learn and Do:
Guided by BirdLife Malta experts, participants will:
Monitor water quality and study aquatic ecosystems.
Build insect hotels and discover the lives of hedgehogs.
Explore nature reserves through birdwatching and guided tours.
Participate in habitat restoration and seed planting.
Uncover the wonders of bird migration, and much more!
🛠️ Course Fee and Extras:
The fee is €260 (early bird rate: €235) and includes:
12 designed educational sessions.
A Nature Guardians hoodie or T-shirt and cap.
Transportation to reserves.
A workbook to use during the course.
A graduation certificate
Exclusive regular free gatherings for graduated children after finishing the course
📍 Meeting Point: Salina Nature Reserve. Transportation to other reserves is included from Salina to other nature reserves.
🎓 Graduation and Beyond:
Celebrate your journey with a graduation ceremony, where you’ll earn your official Nature Guardian Certificate. The adventure doesn’t end here—graduates can join exclusive regular gatherings to continue their conservation efforts and stay connected to this vibrant, eco-conscious community.
