"Habenaria Species and Hybrids" 🌱✨
His passion for orchids began in 2015 with a gift of a mini-Phalaenopsis—and has since grown into a full-blown obsession! Nicholus is now an up-and-coming hybridizer specializing in terrestrial orchids, especially those in the subtribe Habenariinae (think Habenaria, Pecteilis, Cynorkis, and more), along with jewel orchids, Australian terrestrials, and odd aroids like Amorphophallus.
In 2019, he launched RustyExotics Orchids, a boutique nursery that shares rare and beautiful orchids with the world. Check out his work:
