The Mission Continues & Travis Manion Foundation – OC PlatoonJoin us for a day of impact as we come together to build new planter beds and help bring a school garden back to life for local students! Walt Disney Elementary is excited to host a service project that will create a thriving garden space for students to learn, grow, and connect with nature.
This is part of a two-phase garden revitalization project:
Phase 1 (February):
JMH Anaheim and Love Anaheim and the school community will complete demolition of the existing space.
Phase 2 (April 18 – Build Day!):
The Mission Continues / Travis Manion Foundation volunteers will:
✔ Build brand-new planter beds
✔ Fill beds with soil and materials
✔ Help get the student garden ready to grow again
🌿 Behind the Scenes: Making it all possible, Vital Roots Foundation will complete irrigation and sprinkler upgrades in advance so everything is ready to grow!
💪 Who’s Invited?
Veterans, families, community members, and corporate volunteer teams are all welcome. No special skills needed — just a willingness to serve and get your hands a little dirty!
