Local farmers are hard at work nurturing the produce for the Pay-What-You-Can Market, but there's still a ways to go before they're ready to harvest for the first stands in July. But this year we've got a new featured event we're excited about in the meantime!
For three weeks, the different PWYC stands will be having a πͺ΄PLANTπͺ΄ Market.
In the same spirit of food solidarity, these markets will provide seeds and seedlings you need to grow your own produce in the city--no large garden needed!
The Downtown PWYC Plant Market will feature apartment-friendly plants that can be container gardened, like tomatoes, beans, peppers, herbs, and more. Urban farmers will be helping out to answer any questions you may have, so beginners welcome!
