Have you done a beginners course or taster class, and are ready to immerse yourself in the rhythm and vibe of Brazilian Zouk? This course is for you! 🥳
If you are a total beginner, this course is for you too!! We will be approaching the movements from foundations, with a heavy focus on rhythm, timing, and connection with our partner. No experience needed! 🤩
We strongly encourage those who have done beginner classes before (with us or elsewhere) to join us for this course - we believe a huge amount can be gained by experiencing foundational material several times and we’d love for you to see the benefit!
❓ What is Brazilian Zouk?
Brazilian Zouk is a beautiful partner dance from Brazil, with origins in Lambada and Brazilian ballroom dances, and with wide and varied influences ranging across R’n’B, hip hop, contemporary, and more! We can dance to a huge variety of music, with a diverse range of styles, making it one of the most versatile and creative partner dances! It really does offer something for everyone, so come along and try it out! 🎶
❓ Do I need a partner?
No partner required, we all rotate partners and dance with everyone! Although if you prefer, you are welcome to come as a pair and stay dancing together 💃
