Garba Workshop – Antwerp
Step into the vibrant world of Garba — the energetic folk dance from Gujarat, India!
In this 2-hour workshop, you’ll go beyond just the basics. In the first 30 minutes, we’ll focus on Tran Taali, Heench, and 6-step Dodhiyu — plus fresh variations to make your moves pop. Then, we’ll level up with 8-step & 12-step Dodhiyu, playful variations, spin techniques, and barrels that bring dynamic flair to your Garba.
Instead of memorising a fixed routine, you’ll master steps and combos you can make your own — dancing each round your way to the infectious beats of traditional folk music. This workshop will also help you build new Garba combinations you can confidently dance during the Navratri season.

🎯 Level: Open to all — no prior experience in Garba needed, but prior dance experience can come in handy
