Come discover the Italian Cultural Center Youth School at our Winter Open House & Festa della Befana!La Befana is a beloved Italian holiday figure, a friendly “good witch” who visits children on the eve of January 6, bringing small gifts and sweets.
At our Open House, kids and families can:
• Hear a story about La Befana
• Sing a simple song and write a letter to her
• Create Befana-themed crafts
• Taste traditional cookies called “i Befanini.”
• And… MEET LA BEFANA in person!
You’ll also be able to:
• Tour our classrooms and explore our Italian children’s library
• Meet our teachers
• Learn how our Italian classes and cultural events can fit your family, even if you’re brand new to the language.
Everyone is welcome—no Italian required, just curiosity and a desire to have fun.
