About this Event
Join Amy Kuretsky, L.Ac from Constellation Acupuncture & Healing Arts, for a group breathwork + soundbath to honor stillness in the new year.
As we enter a new year, nature invites us to slow down and listen inward. In the Five Element cycle of Chinese medicine, Winter is the season of Water - the element that teaches us about rest, reflection, and renewal. Water asks us to pause and trust the wisdom found in stillness.
Join Amy Kuretsky, L.Ac. for a 90-minute breathwork and soundbath mini retreat designed to help you reconnect with your inner flow and nourish your nervous system after the busyness of the year’s end.
We’ll begin with guided breathwork to clear energetic and emotional residue from the past year - releasing what’s ready to be let go and creating space for what’s next. Then, you’ll be invited into a deeply restorative soundbath, where the vibrations of crystal bowls and other healing sounds ripple through the body, mirroring the gentle movement of water. This immersive soundscape supports the nervous system in settling, allowing the body to enter a state of profound rest and integration.
During the soundbath, you’ll have the option to rest and receive or spend time in reflective journaling using prompts provided by Amy, inspired by the themes of the Water element -intuition, fear and courage, flow, and replenishment. This space for quiet reflection offers a gentle way to anchor the insights that arise through breath and sound.
Whether you come to release, rest, or realign with your own rhythm, this mini retreat is a chance to begin the year feeling more grounded, spacious, and connected to your inner waters.
This 90-min event will be split into four parts:
Time to ground into our present moment and set intentions for our time together.
Time to lay down and breathe.
Time after the breathing to receive the healing vibrations of the sound bath and process what came up for us in our own rest, writing, or integration practices.
Time to reflect as a group, ask questions, and close our time together.
Before you arrive:
No previous breathwork experience necessary. Wear comfy and warm clothes, bring a yoga mat, notebook and pen, water bottle, plus an extra blanket or whatever makes you feel the most cozy and supported.
