🇮🇪ST PATRICKS DAY HOOLEY🇮🇪 Join us Sunday the 16th of March for our big St Patrick’s Day HOOLEY!☘️
This year we are dedicating the day to the late great Leeson O’Keefe - the fighting Irish ferocious front man and founder of North London Celtic punk legends Neck @neck_londonirish_psychoceilidh
Leeson was a long time good friend of ours who sadly passed away last April after a short but intense battle with Cancer 💔
Leeson was not only a fantastic friend to many and an incredible singer/songwriter but also an advocate for equality and fought out against bigotry and hatred.
Although he didn’t get the chance to visit The Dukes under our ownership he frequented The Dukes Head while under the ownership of our late landlord John Murphy- a legend himself! ☘️
We thought it only be suiting to dedicate the day to Leeson and celebrate his life with live music all day including very special performances from artists that were close friends and played with Leeson over the years @the_lagan @burning_wheel_music and Comrade X
We will also be raising money for @macmillancancer and ask you to dig deep this St Patrick’s Day for a wonderful cause.
As you know we never usually charge for any of our live events, but for this day only we kindly ask for a small donation on the door for MacMillan Cancer 🙏🏻
The day will be proudly sponsored by @slanewhiskey who have very kindly gifted us some Slane Swag to raffle off to raise money towards our cause.
There’s lots to be won including Dukes merch and also swag from @titosvodka and @buffalotracedistillery so buy a raffle ticket and hope the luck of the Irish is with you ☘️
