コンセプト

現在カナダ・モントリオール在住のピアニストである八坂公洋氏と、カナダ出身の作曲家ゼミソン・ダリル氏による長崎県五島市のサウンドスケープ・画像とピアノ演奏会が開催されます。
五島は当地独特の文化が残る、世界遺産にも指定されている風光明媚な地。縄文遺跡にまで遡る長い歴史を誇り、空海を含め、遣唐使の出発地としても知られています。五島列島特有の自然の音は言うまでもなく、特に隠れキリシタンの「オラショ」など音楽的に見ても興味深い場所です。このコンサートは、一年かけて五島で録られた音源・映像をもとに作られた、ピアノとオーディオ、ビデオのための没入型作品「五島（アーキペラゴ）」の演奏となります。
本作に加え、ゼミソン、八坂両氏の友人であったピアニストの故・佐藤祐介氏の委嘱作品であり、同氏に献呈された作品でもある Fugue in e （フーガ（ホ））が初演されます。

Concept
Gotō (archipelago): a soundscape, video, and piano work set in Goto City, Nagasaki Prefecture, performed by Kimihiro Yasaka, a Japanese pianist currently residing in Montreal, Canada, and Daryl Jamieson, a Canadian composer based in Japan.
Goto is a picturesque location, designated as a World Heritage Site, where unique local culture persists. It boasts a long history dating back to Jōmon period ruins and is also known as the departure point for the Japanese missions to Tang China, including Kūkai. Beyond the distinctive natural sounds of the Goto Islands, the region holds particular musical intrigue, notably the hidden Christians' “Orasho” chants. This concert marks the Tokyo premiere of the immersive work “Goto (Archipelago)” for piano, audio and video, created using sound and visual recordings gathered over a year in Goto.
Alongside this piece, Fugue in E will also be premiered. This piece was commissioned by and dedicated to the late pianist Satoh Yusuke, a mutual friend of Yasaka and Jamieson's.
