「文化大排檔」
喺每個月嘅第四個星期五，下晝7:30 - 9:00，我哋「二二六工程」會喺我哋Sheffield city centre嘅工作室入面，搞一個名為「文化大排檔」嘅香港人文化分享同討論嘅輕鬆對談環節。
我哋希望每個月邀請一位新移英香港人，分享佢嚟英國之前，喺香港生活、工作、讀書、消遣、搏殺期間嘅某D唔係咁多人知道嘅文化狀況，同佢嘅獨特見解，再同英國呢度作一個簡單嘅比較同回應。
全個分享會大約一個半鐘頭，主要以香港話主講（即廣東話加D英文），亦可提供非專業即時英語傳譯。應邀講者會大概講30至45分鐘，剩低嘅時間就一齊傾吓偈，大家都可以分享、討論下自己嘅經歷。我哋唔介意超時。：）
我哋嘅運作模式好簡單，就係喺Eventbrite嗰度先報名，到時準時出席，而我哋會提供酒水同小食，咁啲酒水就隨緣樂助。
「文化大排檔」顧名思義係將文化，同大排檔融合一齊。喺香港大部份人都去過大排檔，大排檔其實係香港人討論政經大事、家頭細務、朋友聚會、賭馬講經、情緒抒發、同大家飲番杯嘅理想地方。喺一個咁嘅環境底下，講文化，一定可以交織出好多嘢、擦出好多火花。希望喺錫菲（甚至其他地區）嘅香港朋友支持，得閒過嚟參加。謝謝。

"Cultural Dai Pai Dong"
On the fourth Friday of every month, from 7:30 to 9:00 PM, "226 Project" holds a casual sharing and discussion session called "Cultural Dai Pai Dong" at our studio in Sheffield city centre.
We aim to invite a new Hong Kong immigrant each month to share their unique experiences in living, working, studying, leisure, and challenges in Hong Kong before coming to the UK. These are aspects of their cultural life that are not widely known. The speaker will provide their distinctive insights and engage in a simple comparison and discussion with the UK context.
The entire sharing session lasts about an hour and a half, primarily conducted in Cantonese (with some English), and semi-professional simultaneous English interpretation. The invited speaker will talk for approximately 30 to 45 minutes, leaving the rest of the time for open discussion and sharing of experiences. We don't mind going over time. :)
Our operating model is straightforward and simple: register on Eventbrite, attend on time, and we'll provide drinks and snacks, the pricing of these beverages is based on your own preference; you can choose whatever amount you'd like to contribute.
The name "Cultural Dai Pai Dong" combines culture with the concept of a local open-air food stall: Dai Pai Dong. In Hong Kong, Dai Pai Dongs are places where people discuss serious matters, handle family affairs, gather with friends, discuss horse racing tips, express emotions, and have an ideal spot for a drink. In such an environment, discussing culture is bound to bring forth many interesting insights and spark meaningful conversations. We hope that Hong Kong friends in Sheffield (or even from other areas) will support and join us. Thank you.
