Public Law (115-416) “Veteran Small Business Enhancement Act” gives Veteran-Owned Small Businesses access to federal surplus property.
The General Services Administration’s (GSA) Federal Surplus Personal Property Donation Program enables specific non-federal organizations to obtain personal property that the federal government no longer needs.
Eligible veteran-owned small businesses can now work with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) to access the federally owned surplus personal property through the donation program.
VOSBs may obtain federal surplus property from the Texas Facilities Commission for Surplus Property (SASP) in Texas where the property will be primarily located and placed in use.
