💚UK Championships Qualifiers - Bachata Spice Heat for Bristol, South West and Wales @ Bristol Bachata Monthly Party 🥳✊✊⭐ Special Bristol Bachata Monthly Party with Jack n Jills Qualifiers to the 🏆 UK Bachata Spice Championships with international guest teachers including 🏆 2nd place European Jack n Jills Champion Esteban & Damaris from Spain with their beautiful bachata fusion of sensual and Moderna and traditional Dominican bachata vibes combined into beautiful captivating and very social friendly dance delivering top classes and dancing with our Bristol Bachata community until late 🎉 Let's go!
Expect amazing guest teachers as well as additional guests TBA including of the very pioneers of the bachata in the UK - Angel Peynao and current 🏆 UK Bachata Spice Champion Asia and many other guests and taxi dancers @ Bristol Bachata!
Our residential international teacher and owner of Bristol Bachata - Jan - will be hosting and our resident teachers will be teaching alongside our guests delivering classes for all levels from absolute beginners to advanced.
We also expect lot of out-towners joining the night providing the highest level of dancing in South West! Our previous parties we had around 100 dancers per night! Don't miss it this time!
Bristol Bachata Latin Party on Sat 1 Mar 2025 8pm-1.30am @ central beautiful venue in City Centre - Docklands Community Youth Centre) with bachata classes all levels 8-10pm and social party from 10pm until 1.30am!
No partner needed!!!! All levels welcome, come solo or with partner/friends! Pay online or on the door (cash/card).
🍺No bar on site, so feel free to bring your own drinks, including alcohol and snacks.
🚙 Free car park all around the venue and great access with public transport and minutes walk from city centre!

- More than 90% bachata music (song requests welcome) with a touch of salsa and kizomba

📍 LOCATION AND PARKING:
@Docklands Community Youth Centre, 29 Brigstocke Rd, Bristol BS2 8UA - the venue in city centre with a beautiful wooden dance hall floor, powerful sound system, fans, toilets and free parking.
🚙ACCESS:
There is a free On Street Parking all around the venue, or access it by walking, scooter/bike/motorbike or public transport - there are great connection by public transport - buses or train station in Montpelier.
⭐ WHAT WILL YOU LEARN?
The classes aim to teach you the beauty of Sensual, Modern & Dominican Bachata (Latin Dances) to help you enjoy your social dancing.
You will learn:
- basic steps and technique of Sensual, Modern & Dominican Bachata
- fun and easy to lead moves and routines
- musicality - how to interact with the music
- men's and ladies' styling
- how to connect with your partner and really enjoy your dancing.
No partner or previous dancing experience required. Just come along and have some fun 🙂
⭐ WHAT IS IT SENSUAL BACHATA?
Sensual bachata was created in Cádiz, Andalusia, Spain, by Korke Escalona and Judith Cordero.
Korke learned the basics of bachata in 1998; then he started developing his own dance style by understanding how the leader (traditionally a man) could lead the body of the follower (traditionally a woman) to interpret the music. Sensual bachata is an independent dance form with strict lead and follow principles. The dance is an interpretation of the music with mostly circular movements and body waves. When the music has stronger beats, however, the dance also uses isolations and dips.
